South Korea's finance minister has revealed the government has no plans to revise its target of three-percent growth for 2018,... saying first quarter growth was above one-percent.<br /> In an interview with a local radio station on Thursday, Kim Dong-yeon said although on-year export growth fell in April, it picked up this month.<br />He added that qualitative growth and fair wealth distribution are more important than numerical growth,... saying sectors other than semiconductors should contribute to economic growth.<br />Kim also vowed to devise measures to raise the competitiveness of Korea's struggling automobile, shipbuilding and shipping firms that were once the backbone of the economy. <br />
